Microchip your pet!
If your pet is lost, could he find his way home again?
One in three pets will be lost at some time in their lives. Only about 10% of them ever find their way back home.
Make it easier to identify your pet by having him microchipped. All strayed or lost animals are scanned for a microchip when they are brought into the Regional Center for Animal Control & Protection. All animal control officers carry a microchip scanner in their vehicles so that they can return as many animals as possible to their owners.
Furry Friends Mobil Veterinary Clinic and HomeAgain are sponsoring a Microchip Clinic in conjunction with the Walk for the Animals. The clinic will be held from 12:30pm-4:30pm on October 26th in Downtown Roanoke's Elmwood Park.
$25 Cost includes: chip, procedure and registration.
