We encourage young people to volunteer their time with the Roanoke Valley SPCA. The youth are our future and we offer them opportunities to grow and learn through working with and for the animals.
With these opportunities, we are working to create passionate supporters and compassionate adults through humane volunteer service. Volunteering as a family can be a wonderful experience. Teens under the age of 16 must volunteer with a parent or legal guardian. If you wish to volunteer as a family, please complete the Family Volunteer Application and attend one of the family orientation sessions prior to volunteering. A commitment of four hours per month for a six-month period is required.
