Feisty

If you are wanting a pup that will give you a woofin' good time, then Fiesty is your gal.  She is a friendly, active pup, who loves treats and squeaky toys.  She has much to learn and is eager to please.  Time, patience and a good supply of yummy treats are what it will take to help Feisty learn to be a good dog.

Fiesty is a Rottweiler/Shepherd mix and will grow to be a large dog.  Hiking, long walks, and plenty of exercise make Feisty a happy girl.

Rose

Rose is a friendly, active black and tan Rottweiler/Shepherd blend.  She has the winning personality of a puppy and is very treat motivated.  She has much to learn, but with time, patience, and a good supply of treats, Rose will learn the ropes - and good manners - quickly.

Rose has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.  She is ready to begin her life as someone's bestest friend.

Amelia

Meet our very own southern belle, Amelia. Amelia is a domestic short hair feline. Amelia was brought to the RVSPA after her owners could no longer care for her.  Amelia was pretty upset at first, but the RVSPCA family has been showing her lots of tender, loving, care.  Amelia is a very low key girl, who loves just hanging out. She loves to sit on peoples laps. She also is a very observant girl, and enjoys “animal” watching. She also really enjoys just relaxing and lounging. Amelia also loves to be pampered and enjoys a day out at the spa. Amelia is looking for that perfect lap, to lie in. If you could be that lap she’s looking for, you should stop on in and say hi!

Midnight

Who could ever resist this precious face? Meet Midnight, our outgoing and social, feline. Midnight loves to get lots of attention, and enjoys being in the spot light. She will definitely let you know when she’s not feeling loved. She loves to play with others and enjoys goofing off with them.  Midnight came to the RVSPCA after her owner could no longer care for her. She was pretty upset at first, but with the help of her friends at the RVSPCA, she is healing.  Midnight is waiting patiently to find her new forever home. She is looking for a fun, active home that will show her lots of love.

Midnight has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She has her bags packed and ready to go home today!

Pouchie

Hi I’m Pouchie. I am a Pug mix who came to the RVSPCA as a stray, in hopes of finding a forever home.  I have lots of energy and love to run around and play. I am a very active guy, who really needs an active home. I’m very adventurous and love exploring new things.  I also enjoy just hanging out and relaxing as well. I love to give lots of kisses, to show my love.  I hope to find my forever home real soon. I don’t know many tricks. I’d love to find a family that will be patient with me while I’m learning new tricks. I’d also like a family that is adventurous, fun, active home; you should stop on by and say hi!

Butterscootch

Butterscotch is an adult ferret, at the RVSPCA . Butterscotch is used to being handled and likes to be petted.  He enjoys a good long nap, curled up inside a baby blanket.  When he is fully rested, Butterscotch can be very entertaining, curious and cuddly.  Ferrets make great little pets but do require specialized care to live long and healthy lives.  Potential adopters should check out the Humane Society of the US website for tips on caring for a ferret.

Blackberry

Are you in need of some excitement in your life? Well look no further then Blackberry! She is the perfect candidate to making your life exciting. She might be a bit older than some of the kittens at the shelter, but she can run around better than most of them.  She loves to explore and has the energy and personality of one much younger. Blackberry loves having fun, and loves to party. She is a dancing fool, who will dance to any song on the radio. Blackberry is always happy. She loves seeing others smile, and will do whatever she can, to keep a smile on your face!

Blackberry came to the RVSPCA as a stray in hopes of finding a new home. She’s already been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She’s all ready for her next adventure; are you??

Mickey Blue Eyes

Mickey Blue Eyes is a 6 month old mixed breed rabbit.  His solid black fur is long and soft as velvet.  He enjoys being brushed.  Mickey Blue Eyes had a home until recently.  He is fairly hand-tame and will make a lucky someone a great companion.

Rabbits can have a long life-span with proper care and nutrition.  They also require regular exercixe and socialization to keep them happy.  Check out the website of the Humane Society of the U.S. for more info on caring for bunnies.

Chloe

Chloe is at the RVSPCA with her brother, Lex.  Their owner could no longer care for them and brought them to us for help in finding a new home.  Chloe is a fairly tame rabbit, but enjoys being independent. She likes her alone time, relaxing and soaking up the sun.

Chloe has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Rabbits make very good pets, but require a lot of special care.  Anyone interested in adopting a rabbit should research the care and treatment necessary for them to live long, happy lives.  The Humane Society of the U.S. website contains excellent information.

Frankie

Hi, there!  My name is Frankie.  I am a young boy who they say is a Dachshund mix.  I have a longish-body shape, am kind of short, and have funny looking feet and I have a long black coat. I am a happy, happy boy who loves everyone!  I’m very big into sitting on others laps. I’m the perfect size to keep your lap warm on those cold nights.  I really like treats and making you happy so I promise to learn any new tricks you want to teach me.  I want to be a part of a family and will make a wonderful companion. I have been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.  I lived on my own for a while before coming to the RVSPCA. I didn’t like living on my own and was really excited to be at the RVSPCA. Sassy

Yo quiero una casa!!  Hola, my name is Sassy. I am a Chihuahua mix, who came to the RVSPCA after being on my own for a while. Can you believe I got lost from my family?!?! I didn’t like living on my own and am really glad to be at the RVSPCA. As you can tell from my photos, I love, love, love to play!  I have a lot of energy and would love to have a family that is very active! I really like to chase a tennis ball and can do that for hours.  I also am very goofy and enjoy making others laugh. Laughter is wonderful music to my ears. After I am worn out, I will cuddle nicely with you and be your best friend forever.  I make the perfect lap dog! I’m super friendly and love meeting new people. I’ve made a lot of friends while at the RVSPCA, but I’m looking for my best friend!

Hi I’m Davey. I’m a real friendly domestic medium hair feline. I came to the RVSPCA after living own my own with my brother and sister. Bonjour!  My name is Sparrow, a handsome tuxedo-domestic short haired kitten. My siblings and I somehow got lost from our home. We did not like living on our own and were very grateful for the RVSPCA taking us in. We are a pretty close family and would love to be adopted together. We do pretty much everything together from playing to sleeping. I of course am the oldest, by 5 minutes, so I, of course become the big brother and am very protective over my brother and sister. You could say I am the guardian or protector; I guard and protect the ones I love. I will protect your as well, if you just give me a chance. I’d love to find that puurrrfect forever home. One that will love me for who I am, but will also let me guard and protect their hearts.

Say hello to Liz! Liz came to the RVSPCA after her brothers and she had lived on their own for a while. Liz is a very high energetic, sweet girl. She loves to run and play, all day long. As you can tell, she has a thing for flowers and soft toys. She could play with someone all day long. Liz is like a teddy bear. She loves to give kisses and loves to get hugs all day long, as well. The best part about Liz is her voice. She has a beautiful voice. She loves to sing all day long. Love is in the air; well it will be the minute you lay eyes on Fritz! Fritz is a handsome Domestic Short Hair/Tabby feline, who came to the RVSPCA as a stray. Can you believe this guy got lost from his family?!?! Fritz has these very distinctive eyes that stand out in a crowd.  Fritz is super sweet. He is very curious and loves following you around to see what you are doing. He’s very playful and loves playing with ping pong balls and ribbon. He loves being petted and loves to cuddle. He loves being around and playing with others. After fun day of playing, you can find Fritz cuddled right up next to you.  The minute you set eyes on Fritz, it will be love at first sight! Rocky is a very handsome gray/white long haired kitten.  He and his sister, Cali, came to the RVSPCA after their owner could no longer care for them.  We are so happy they are safe, warm and cared for.  Rocky has the frisky personality of a kitten.  Friendly, playful, curious...these all describe him.  He is sure to provide plenty of entertainment.

Meet Sasha.  She is a Beagle mix with a lovely black/brown coat.  Beagles make the most loving pets, as you can see from Sasha’s photos.  Can't you just see yourself walking the parkway on a warm fall day with her by your side?  Imagine that she is by your side while you watch TV or read a good book by the fire.  Sasha would like to apply for the position of your new best friend! 

Sasha can be a bit nervous when first meeting new people, but she warms up quickly.  She is playful and energetic, as most young dogs will be.  She is food motivated and very attentive to a squeaky toy.  She should be fairly easy to train with time, patience and a good supply of treats.

Dean

Sir Dean, presiding here, at the RVSPCA. Dean is a Domestic Short Haired feline who came to the RVSPCA after living on his own for a while. Dean is a big boy, with a big heart and big cat-titude. He definitely thinks of himself as the king and believes all should treat him as if he were the king.  His favorite thing to do during the day is sit high on his thrown and watch everything that is going on around him. Dean also enjoys lounging around in his king size bed. We’ve tried to have him exercise with us at the shelter, but he wants nothing to do with it. He just wants to lounge and watch us sweat! He can be a very sweet guy though, especially when he wants something. And of course he loves being loved on, the more attention he gets, the more he feels like a king.  Dean has a few requirements for his new home and that is throne to call his own and to be known and treated as a king!
