The heart and soul of the RVSPCA
You can help.
If you have a passion for animals, we need you! There are many ways that you can help, both in and out of the shelter.
Become a foster family.
Temporary foster homes are crucial to saving lives! Truly, two weeks can mean a lifetime to a homeless animal.
Volunteering at the RVSPCA is "heart" work!
There are many ways to help the animals at the RVSPCA, both in and out of the shelter. The first step to becoming one of our volunteers is to attend one of the Volunteer Orientation sessions. Sessions are held twice each month. Choose which session is most convenient for you.
The next Volunteer Orientation will be held on Thursday, May 17th at 6 p.m. The Saturday session will held on May 26th at 9:30 a.m.
Pre-registration is required and is limited to the first 15 participants. Pre-register at volunteer@rvspca.org and be sure to indicate which session you will be attending.
Orientation sessions are held at the RVSPCA Adoption & Education Center, 1340 Baldwin Ave., Roanoke.
