The Roanoke Valley SPCA invites you to join us for a new educational series! Have you ever wondered what the difference is between the Roanoke Valley SPCA and the Regional Center for Animal Care and Protection? Or maybe you’d like to learn more about estate planning for your pet? Do you find the number of pet food choices daunting? We hope to address all of these questions and many many more in this series!
October’s session will focus on Standards of Care in Animal Shelters. Have you ever wanted to learn about the recommended standards of care in animal shelters? Are you curious about how animal shelters operate? Here’s your chance to learn! Denise Hayes, CEO, will review the Standards of Care in Animal Shelters as outlined by the Association of Shelter Veterinarians and provide a behind the scenes tour of the Roanoke Valley SPCA.
This series is free, and open to the public, but because of limited space, pre-registration is required. These events will be held at the Barbara and Warner Dalhouse Adoption and Education Center located at 1340 Baldwin Avenue NE, Roanoke. PLEASE REGISTER BELOW.
