About Haunter

Haunter was abandoned at a few months old in a Walmart parking lot in July. I have had him since. He is a sweet cuddle bug inside and playful buddy out who definitely needs a yard with a fence. He was up to date on everything until this year and is healthy. His golden fur is water-resistant and loves water when he chooses to get in it. He is usually the first to greet with a lick attack and will jump on you but a couple of down commands help.

Behavioral Concerns: He does chase cats and runs out the door. I have been working on the darting by making him back up before entering. He showed slight food aggression for a bit but stopped after training, I think it was his anxiety after I started work. All he did was growl. He has tried to bite the vet out of fear.
Afraid of: He does have separation anxiety and fear of the vets. you have to be with him. I have had to muzzle and use sleepy pills because he doesn't like it. He is hesitant with car rides, it used to be outright fear.
Games like to play: He likes to chase toys, and never really learned to fetch. He prefers to run around with you or wrestle with another dog. He also likes to just chill in the sun with you and a good chew bone. He loves squeak toys and playing tug of war with those.
If children, ages: He lives with a toddler, 3 years old, but has knocked him down. I suggest maybe a little older even though my nephew cuddles and climbs all over this dog. Haunter Loves the attention. Other than that he hasn't much of a chance to be around anyone.
