About Mr Scruff Muffins
Mr Scruff Muffins was left at the house with several other cat friends, when his humans moved. He has been barely surviving on the street since Feb/March 2026. I’ve been feeding him and his friends, but sometimes they chase him off, so he was extra skinny. He is neutered now and up to date on rabies. He is such a sweetie pie, I should’ve called him love muffins, he is happy to be gently picked up and loves chin and face rubs, purrs loudly. He cries at my front door, I believe he has lived in a house with a person and maybe a dog. Mr Scruff Muffins accidentally got taken for a ride underneath a truck this past weekend and was gone for 4 days, when he returned just this week 7/23/26 he was extremely hungry, thirsty and is all bones, I’m making sure he gets his food twice a day in peace without Tiger Lilly chasing him off. He is polite with my large dog but is respectful of her space. He is very gently and sweet and comes running across the road when I call him, he hides out in my neighbors shed and under their car best I can tell. He has not been tested for leukemia because he was missing when we had an appointment, but my guess is he will test positive also since they've all being living alongside each other. leukemia kitties have a weakened immune system so he really needs to be in a home and not living on the street His life may not be as long as non leukemia Kitty but he certainly deserves a loving home, where he will be fed and feel safe. He gets along well with lil gray and may even be her dad or older brother. He loves canned tuna and everything else I offer him of course he’s starving and will take a while to get him to a healthy weight. Mr Scruff Muffins will go in a cat carrier for tuna and is quite happy to chill in there for a short while, maybe 90mins when I have to get my dog out on the porch.
