Prevention Services Spay/Neuter Services
We maintain that spaying, neutering, and humane education are the solutions to homeless animals. Although we cannot provide spay or neuter services to publicly owned pets at our facility, Mountain View Humane, our high quality, low cost spay/neuter clinic in Christiansburg offers affordable spay/neuter, wellness, dental, and humane euthanasia services. Check out their website here or give them a call at: 540-382-0222
Microchipping
Prevention is the key to keeping pets out of shelters. All animals at the Roanoke Valley SPCA have been microchipped so that they can always be reunited with their owners. Our sister organization, Mountain View Humane provides low-cost microchipping for owned pets.
