We maintain that spaying, neutering, and humane education are the solutions to homeless animals.

Prevention is the key to keeping pets out of shelters.  All animals at the Roanoke Valley SPCA have been microchipped so that they can always be reunited with their owners.  We also offer microchipping on our mobile spay/neuter clinic and in our Christiansburg clinic. Reunion with your found pet is easy if you keep your contact information up to date. Click here for more information.
