As we enter this time of thanksgiving and reflection, on behalf of all of us at the Roanoke Valley SPCA, I want to thank you for your continued support. Because of caring donors like you, we have been able to help even more animals this year—42% more to be exact!
One of these animals was a special cat named Lil Bit. Lil Bit came to us as a momma cat with her litter, but during her time with us, we discovered that she was suffering from a painful condition called Feline Stomatitis. Thanks to your generous support, we were able to provide Lil Bit with extensive medical care over several months to ease her pain and prepare her for adoption.
Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing more of Lil Bit’s journey and other stories of animals who, like her, were given a second chance because of you. Be sure to follow our social media channels to stay updated on her story and others like her.
Even with all the success we’ve had, more animals like Lil Bit need our help every day. If you’d like to help animals in need, please visit our donation page.
